About us

Factory Wheel Outlet was founded in 1998 by the father-and-son team of Ernie and Jim Gilbert.

Ernie and Jim couldn’t understand how dealerships could charge as much as $1,000 for factory wheel-related services. In many cases, those costs are billed through insurance companies, giving dealers little incentive to offer fair, accessible pricing to customers with limited options.

That gap in the market created a real need. Consumers needed a more affordable way to repair, refinish, or reface damaged wheels without always having to involve an insurance claim.

Today, Factory Wheel Outlet provides that relief. We help drivers save money through high-quality wheel repair, refinishing, and refacing services while continuing to serve insurance companies and retail wheel distributors with trusted, professional wheel restoration solutions.
